“Hotter in July”

Casting is currently underway for “Hotter in July,” a three-episode short rom-com film series where a chance encounter between an outspoken journalist and a Broadway actor has the possibility of blossoming into something more if ambition and former lovers don't get in the way. Talent, aged 21–75, is wanted for lead and supporting roles, including the starring roles of Kwame and Shar. Rehearsals will begin in June, followed by filming in July. Pay is $240 per day with travel and meals provided.

Dark Church Productions is seeking talent for “Gum,” a quirky horror-comedy feature film about an innocent Mormon girl being haunted by her guilt. Talent, aged 18–90, is wanted for various roles, including the lead role of Eden. Talent will film this fall in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas. Pay is $125–$240 per day for up to 15 days of work.

Three bilingual (English/Spanish) Latinx actors based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, aged 14–50, are wanted to portray a family of three in an energy company commercial. Talent will work in July or August. Pay is $350–$500 for two days of work.

San Diego and L.A.-based models, aged 8–48, are wanted to portray a family of four in a commercial car audio technology shoot. Talent will work on June 26 in Downtown L.A. Pay is $650 for child models and $1,440 for adult models.
