Now Casting: Showtime’s Series Adaptation of ‘Let the Right One In’ Needs Talent + 3 More Gigs

The upcoming Showtime adaptation of the vampire novel and film “Let the Right One In” is casting talent in New York City for background roles. Plus, a lighting commercial, an “Alice in Wonderland”–themed game studio shoot, and an independent DC Universe web series are casting now. 

Showtime’s “Let the Right One In”

Casting continues for the upcoming Showtime series “Let The Right One In,” starring Demián Bichir and based on the vampire drama of the same name. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted to portray upscale party guests in background roles. Filming will take place from March 21–23 in Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. Pay is $165–$187 per day.

Lighting Commercial, Long Island

Two actors, aged 35–45, and two child actors, aged 8–12, are wanted to portray a family in a lighting commercial. Filming will take place at a residence in Suffolk County, Long Island, from March 22–25. Pay is $250–$500, with travel provided.

CluedUpp: “Alice in Wonderland”

CluedUpp, an independent game studio that creates immersive outdoor experiences and team-building events in over 80 countries worldwide, is now seeking talent for an “Alice in Wonderland”–themed shoot. Four actors, aged 10–70, are wanted to play Alice, the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, and the Mad Hatter. Filming will take place in April in Central Maryland. Pay is $600 for one day of work, with lunch provided.

“Jason Todd”

Join the cast of “Jason Todd,” an independent three-part nonprofit web series that takes a deep dive into the mind of DC comics character Jason Todd and his time as Robin. Male talent, aged 30–75, is wanted for supporting roles in the project, including the role of Bruce Wayne. Filming will take place this spring in Pittsburgh. Pay is TBD (undisclosed by the production).
