The Oakland Film Company is now casting “Shaka,” a one-hour serialized TV crime drama based on characters from the film “The Broken Rose.” Talent, age 12 and older, is now wanted for a variety of leads and supporting roles, including Darnell, a brilliant child who aspires to be an astronaut and who is manipulated into a life of crime during financial hardship.
