“Between Towns,” a new mystery-drama show, is casting its pilot episode. A female actor, aged 18–25, is wanted to play the lead role of Ryder, a girl who returns home after 10 years and is instantly drawn to one of the least popular kids at school. Talent, aged 18–60, is also wanted for other lead, supporting, and day player roles. Rehearsals and filming will take place in late summer in New York City. The Gateway: Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County is looking for male singer-dancers for its production of the Tony-winning musical “Kinky Boots.” Talent, aged 18–43, is wanted for the ensemble. There will be an audition by appointment on June 4 in NYC. Rehearsals will take place from Aug. 13–28 at Gateway Playhouse in Bellport, New York and performances will run from Aug. 28–Sept. 14 at The Patchogue Theater in Patchogue, New York. “THE WHISPERING WOODS”
Join the cast of “The Whispering Woods,” an independent feature-length thriller film that takes place in the Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Talent, aged 20–28, is wanted for lead and supporting roles. Talent should be experienced and comfortable with improvisation and on-set rewrites. Filming will take place at night from Nov. 22–24.
