Casting has begun for the upcoming Netflix four-part series adaptation of the bestselling novel “All the Light We Cannot See.” A young blind or low-vision female actor, age 14–18, is now wanted to play the starring role of Marie-Laure. Filming will begin in March 2022 in Europe. Talent will be paid under a SAG-AFTRA contract; exact rates are TBD.

“Rosemary Street”

Kapri 2 Productions is casting “Rosemary Street,” a web series that centers on a group of neighbors living in Chuck Village in Baltimore. Two actors, age 15–35, are wanted to play the roles of Stashi and Jordan, a pair of musicians in a local band. Filming will take place in November and December (location TBD). Pay is TBD (undisclosed by the production).

“André!”

Join the cast of “André!” a short mocumentary about two friends who get into confrontations in Manhattan as they try to find a gift for André’s investment banker father. Talent, age 18–70, is wanted for a variety of roles, including the co-starring role of Trey, André’s best friend. Filming will begin on Nov. 1 in Encinitas, California. Pay is a minimum of $100 per day depending on the role.

“The 2006 Jetta”

Talent, age 10 and older, is wanted for a series of spec concept commercials for the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta that will be used for promotion. Roles range from the commercial narrator to people reacting to the finished product. Additionally, the project is seeking several crew roles, including a video editor, composer, sound mixer, and colorist. Talent will work from home. This is an unpaid gig.
