Now Casting: ‘Trial By Fire’ Wants Rock Concert–Goers + More

A host of great new opportunities this month in Atlanta are now available, including background roles in the upcoming feature film “Trial By Fire,” starring Laura Dern and Jack O’Connell. Also available are roles for drivers on NBC’s “Good Girls,” talent with bartending or serving experience on the YouTube Red “Karate Kid” sequel, and techs on Fox’s “Star!”

“Trial By Fire,” the feature film that will follow “the tragic and controversial story of Cameron Todd Willingham, who was executed in Texas for killing his three children after scientific evidence and expert testimony that bolstered his claims of innocence were suppressed,” is now casting background roles. Male and female talent, aged 21–35, are wanted to portray rock concert audience members. The scene will shoot Oct. 11 in Atlanta, Georgia. Pay is $68 for eight hours of work. Apply here!

Casting is underway for NBC’s “Good Girls,” starring Christina Hendricks and Matthew Lillard in a series about “three ‘good girl’ suburban wives and mothers [who] suddenly find themselves in desperate circumstances and decide to stop playing it safe and risk everything to take their power back." Male and female talent, aged 20–55, with downscale cars (no red or white cars) are wanted for background roles. There is also a background role available for a male actor, aged 20–29, as a pizza delivery guy. Talent must have a bookable car (2000–2018, no red/white/black). “Good Girls” shoots Oct. 9 in Atlanta, Georgia. Pay is $88 for 10 hours with a $25 car bump. Apply here!

Join the cast of “Cobra Kai,” a limited series for YouTube Red set 30 years after the events of “The Karate Kid.” The series is seeking male and female talent, aged 20–35, with server, bartender, or valet experience for background at a club scene. “Cobra Kai” will shoot on a date TBA after Oct. 12 in Atlanta, Georgia. Casting continues for season two of Fox’s “Star,” with Queen Latifah, Jude Demorest, Brittany O’Grady, and more. Caucasian or Asian male talent with nice bodies, aged 18–45, are wanted to portray training technicians in background roles. The production will shoot Oct. 9 in Atlanta, Georgia.
