Now Casting: Twin Sisters Wanted in All-Female Feature Film ‘LadyWorld’ + 2 More Gigs

Who runs the world? Girls, of course! Today’s roundup features an opportunity to join the cast of “LadyWorld,” an all-female film inspired by “The Lord of the Flies,” where a group of teenage girls gets trapped in an isolated Los Angeles home after a terrible earthquake. There are also roles in a promo video for a major network show and in a suspenseful, dramatic short.

“LadyWorld,” an all-female feature film inspired by “The Lord of the Flies,” is currently casting major roles. Twin sisters, aged 15–20, are wanted to play the supporting roles of Rose and Coco, who will represent ignorance in the story. The film will rehearse at the end of December or early January and shoot Jan. 3–17 in Los Angeles. Pay is $125 per day with meals provided. Apply here!

A male or female actor, aged 30–50, is sought to play an FBI agent in a supporting role for an online promotional video for a major network series. The production will shoot Dec. 11–12 in NYC. Pay is $250 per day. Apply here!

Casting is currently underway for “Switch,” a dramatic and suspenseful short film about a young girl recovering from a head injury who is confused by the too-perfect nature of her family and surroundings. A male actor and a female actor, aged 28–50, are wanted to play lead characters in the film. Casting will be done from self-taped auditions. Shooting will take place Jan. 18–20 (over two to three days) in Dallas, Texas. Actors must be able to travel to and from and stay in Dallas, Texas. Pay is $500, plus 10 percent agency fee, with meals, IMDb credit, and a $100 travel credit (if more than 30 miles outside filming location) provided. Apply here!
