Casting continues for a non-union commercial for Postable, a card company. Talent, age 5 and older, is wanted for a variety of roles, including the lead grandmother role. Filming will take place on Oct. 22–23 in the tristate area. Pay is $500–$1,500 for the day, with transportation and meals provided.

“World’s #1 Grandson”
Join the cast of “World’s #1 Grandson,” a dark comedy short about a grandmother who makes her 10-year-old grandson promise to put her out of her misery if she ever suffers from dementia, which she eventually does. Talent, age 8 and older, is wanted for several roles, including the lead role of Jupiter. Filming will take place over four days in November and/or December in Los Angeles. Pay is TBD (undisclosed by the production), but will be up to $250.

“Bros,” Universal Studios Comedy
Casting is underway for the upcoming Universal Studios comedy feature film “Bros,” written by and starring Billy Eichner. Talent, age 21–50, is wanted to portray couples at a party in featured background roles. Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required. Talent will work on Oct. 13 in New Jersey and New York City, with the exact location TBD. Pay is $182 for eight hours of work.

“It Might As Well Be Spring”
“It Might As Well Be Spring,” a short student film about an angry ecologist who needs to borrow his exuberant real estate developer dad’s car for a career-defining experiment, is seeking three actors, age 18–85, for lead roles, including the starring roles of Leo and Jerome. Filming will take place over four days in early December in the NYC area. Pay is $125 per day.
