“Desperate Housewives” Vertical Series

XYZ Entertainment is seeking talent for a vertical series following a wealthy middle-aged woman who spent her life tending to her family’s needs while neglecting herself until she meets a younger man and rediscovers the feeling of being loved. Los Angeles-based actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted for several roles, including the lead roles of Beth and Matthew. Filming will begin on March 22 in L.A. Pay is $80 per day for background roles, $100 per day for day players, $140–$175 per day for supporting roles, and $400 per day for lead roles.

“Inside the SDNY”

New York City-based actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted for dramatic reenactments of high-profile Southern District of New York (SDNY) court cases. Filming dates are TBD. Pay is $100 per hour for an estimated four hours of work.

“Shocking”

Casting is underway for “Shocking,” a short film centered on an already-strained marriage that collapses entirely when a dangerous morning ritual ticks toward obsession. Two actors, aged 28–48, are wanted to play the lead married couple. Filming will take place on March 15 in West Hollywood. Pay is $200 per day with meals provided.

“You’re Family”

Join “You’re Family,” an NYU thesis film about an Uzbek immigrant desperately trying to win back the trust of his family after getting released from rehab for drug addiction. Actors, aged 6 and older, are wanted for various roles, including the starring role of Samir. Rehearsals will begin in early March, followed by filming on March 18–21 in NYC. Pay is $300 for three days of work for the lead role; all other roles are unpaid. Meals and craft services will be provided.
