“Elbow Grease”

Breathe Media Group is now seeking talent for “Elbow Grease,” a short film about a latchkey kid who takes action to get the birthday gift he wanted after receiving something less than desirable. Three actors, aged 8–38, are wanted for the lead roles of Willie, a BMX-obsessed 10-year-old, and his mother, Nita, as well as a day player role. Filming will take place on April 26 in Fairfax County, Virginia. Pay is $125–$500 with meals, credit, lodging and travel expenses, and reel material provided.

“Old Yazoo”

Casting is underway for “Old Yazoo,” a short psychological thriller following Eddie, who wakes up in an empty white room after what he thought to be his first therapist session. Actors, aged 23–30, are wanted for lead and supporting roles, including the starring role of Eddie. Filming will take place in the Worcester, Massachusetts, area with dates TBD. Pay is $150 for one day of work for supporting roles and $150–$300 per day for up to seven days of work for the lead role.
