NYC Now Casting: Roundabout Theatre Company’s ‘Apologia’ Is Filling Lead Roles + More

Launch or continue your theatrical career with one of the great stage gigs in today’s New York City roundup. Roundabout Theatre Company’s upcoming “Apologia” is casting principal roles, a one-man show is looking to add an additional actor-singer, and an immersive dystopian multimedia series is filling its cast.

“APOLOGIA”
Roundabout Theatre Company is now seeking Equity actors for its upcoming play “Apologia.” Talent, aged 25–74, is sought to play several principal roles in the production, including the double role of Peter and Simon. Most roles require an English accent. There will be an Equity Principal audition on April 16 in NYC. Rehearsals begin Aug. 28 with previews beginning Sept. 27 and a run of Oct. 16–Dec. 23. “WAR + LOVERS”
“War + Lovers,” currently a one-man semi-autobiographical show about the Vietnam War, is looking to add a female singer-actor to take over the vocals and female characters in the production. Asian talent, aged 21–31, is wanted to sing 10 songs and perform two female roles in the show. “War + Lovers” runs bi-monthly at Studio Theatre in Theatre Row. Pay is negotiable with experience. “FUTUREPROOF/THE UVX”
Casting is underway for “Futureproof/The UVX,” an immersive dystopian multimedia series in the form of theatrical productions, films, podcasts, and more. Talent, aged 18–75, is sought for several roles in the series. All actors must have improv training or experience. Rehearsal will take place once or twice a month until Aug. 17, followed by a show run Aug. 17–Nov. 3 in NYC. Pay is $150 per day. Apply here!
