Reese Witherspoon Makes a Return to Rom-Coms in “Your Place or Mine”
Reese Witherspoon is setting up a place for herself in New York as the actor has begun to film her next major movie, per Hollywood Life. The “Legally Blonde” star has been spotted around Manhattan filming her latest project “Your Place or Mine” with co-star Ashton Kutcher. Yahoo! Life also reports that they were seen with supporting cast member Jessie Wiliams around Central Park along 5th Avenue and 59th Street, according to signs in the area. Witherspoon shared a post on her Instagram on Oct. 2 from the corner of Montague and Henry Streets captioned, “Heading back to my rom-com roots! Let’s do this!” Per Deadline, The Netflix film features Witherspoon and Kutcher playing long-distance best friends who opt to swap houses. The project is written and directed by Aline Brosh McKenna (“The Devil Wears Prada” and “My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”). In addition to Witherspoon, Kutcher, and Williams, the cast also includes Steve Zahn, Zoe Chao, Tig Notaro, and Wesley Kimmel. Ronna Kress is the casting director.
