One of Queens’ most famous residents is staying busy at home these days. The Comedy Central series “Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens” created by and starring Awkwafina has been in full-force filming as it prepares for its Season 2 premiere at some point in early 2021. Recent filming locations have included East Flushing, Plainview on Long Island, and William H Pouch Boy Scout Camp on Staten Island. Awkwafina stars with Lori Tan Chinn, BD Wong, Bowen Yang, Jennifer Esposito, and more. Cody Beke and Seth White are the casting directors for the series.
