If you’re a fan of anything “Star Wars,” we know you already watched the premiere of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” on Disney+. With original prequel trilogy stars Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprising their roles as Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, this series is a big deal. As we have to wait till Friday for more episodes, we’ve rounded up a list of castings reminiscent of the thrill of “Star Wars.” From alien abductions to spies, apply to one of these gigs while you wait for “Obi-Wan Kenobi.”

“Outer Banks” on Netflix

Casting is underway for Season 3 of the hit Netflix adventure drama “Outer Banks,” and production is looking for background actors of all genders, aged 18 and up. Filming is taking place now through mid-August in Charleston, South Carolina. Pay is $132 per day.

“10 Days Before”

Leading roles are up for grabs in this new 10-episode mini series, titled “10 Days Before.” The project follows four couples stranded in the woods on the first day of an alien invasion. Each episode follows one sequential day in the invasion, and one day of chaos for these eight campers. Production wants male and female talent, aged 18–33, of any race or ethnicity, for the leading roles. Rehearsals run for two days in September, with filming slated for Oct. to Nov. in Southwest Wisconsin. Deferred pay is included, with amounts depending on show success.

“The Becomers”

Casting is underway for a new feature film, following a body-snatching alien attempting to make the most out of living on earth. The film is looking to cast a day player, of any race, gender or ethnicity, aged 40 or older. Filming in Chicago will be on a TBD date and pays $100–$250 per day, depending on experience, for two days of filming.

“Alien Takeover”

This animated feature film is looking for talent of any gender, race or ethnicity, aged 11–17, for two alien roles. Talent will be able to work from home, recording lines on preferably professional equipment, but microphone apps will do. Production dates are TBD, and this is an unpaid gig.
