Heading our way in 2025 is Season 2 of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.” The Disney+ fantasy series stars Walker Scobell as the titular preteen demigod, and the show's second season will follow author Rick Riordan’s novel, “The Sea of Monsters,” in the “Percy Jackson” book series. Untitled Fantasy Short Film

A female or nonbinary actor, age 18–20, is wanted to play Aria, the lead character in a fantasy short film. Additionally, a voice actor, age 18 or older, is wanted to voice an ethereal-sounding character. Talent will work on Dec. 9 in the Los Angeles area. Pay is $150 for four hours of work.

“The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure”

Walt Disney World Company is casting talent for “The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure.” Two actors, aged 18–99, are wanted to play the lead roles of Ariel and Prince Eric. The actor playing Ariel must be able to sing (lyrical pop soprano, belt to C). Submissions must be received by Dec. 11. Performances will take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Pay is $24 per hour with potential Equity pension, 401K, and health insurance provided.

“Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular”

Walt Disney World Company is also seeking talent for its “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.” Stunt tumblers, actors, and other performers, aged 18–99, are wanted for various roles in the live performance, including Indiana Jones's stunt double. Submissions must be received by Dec. 9. Performances will take place in Lake Buena Vista with dates TBD. Pay is $24 per hour with potential Equity pension, 401K, and health insurance provided.

Hong Kong Disneyland Character Look-Alike Online Submission

Hong Kong Disneyland is seeking look-alike talent for its upcoming anniversary celebration. Female actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted to play Isabela and Mirabel from “Encanto” and Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog.” Submissions must be received by Dec. 11. Talent will work in Hong Kong with dates TBD. Pay is TBD.

“Aladdin,” Broadway

Disney Theatrical Productions is also seeking Equity talent, aged 18–99, for future replacements in its Broadway musical adaptation of “Aladdin.” There will be an Equity Principal Audition on Dec. 12 in New York City. Start dates and locations are TBD. Pay is $2,638 per week.

“Rumple”

EverJo Productions is seeking talent for “Rumple,” a short film set in a fantasy world and following a re-creation of the tale of Rumplestiltskin. Actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted for various roles, such as Princess Adaline, the evil witch, and more. Additionally, production is hiring multiple crew positions, including production assistants, camera operators, and more. Rehearsals and filming will take place in L.A., with the date TBD. Pay is $150 with meals provided.

Post Playhouse, Summer Rep Season

The Post Playhouse in Dawes County, Nebraska, is casting its summer repertory season, including Disney’s “Newsies,” “Into the Woods,” and more. Nationwide actors, aged 21–79, are wanted for the season, with all actors performing tracks that include four out of the five shows. Auditions will be held by appointment on Feb. 28 and March 1 in NYC, with local auditions held in Chadron, Nebraska, in mid-March. Rehearsals will begin on May 5, followed by performances beginning on May 23. Pay is $4,900 for 14 weeks of work with housing provided.
