A new variety talk show is shooting a pilot and seeking talent to play the part of the talk show sidekick.

“The Original Show” is a twenty-minute variety talk show. The format will consist of an interview between the host and two influencers covering recent pop culture news. Additionally, the guests will also participate in “fun random segments.”

The show is casting male and female talent, aged 21–30, to be the “Talk Show Sidekick.” Talent should have strong improvisational skills, great comedic timing, and be able to elevate the host by spontaneously riffing on their jokes and material. Comedians are encouraged to apply.

The show is rehearsing in Burbank, California for an upcoming, yet-to-be-scheduled pilot shoot in Long Beach, California. Actors will be paid $200 and provided meals.
