Peacock scored a royal flush with “Poker Face.” The mystery-of-the-week show created by Rian Johnson and starring Natasha Lyonne has concluded its smash hit first season, but a Season 2 is on the way! Though details on the second season of the streaming series haven’t been revealed just yet, you can find your own mystery and crime fix with these gigs looking for talent right now.

“Duke’s End”

Engage Playwright’s Lab is casting for its upcoming play about two accident-prone small-time criminals that will run in New York. Production is looking for a lead male actor, aged 18 and older, to play Eric, a lead female actor, aged 18 and older, to play Nancy, and a lead all genders actor, aged 18 and older, to play Nurse. All roles pay $100 per day for an estimated 30 days of work.

“Let the Games Begin”

A thriller murder mystery scripted show is casting for its October 2023–January 2024 shoot in Boston and southern New Hampshire. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 19–27, to play Ava, a lead male actor, aged 40–60, to play Professor Billings, and a lead male actor, aged 25–35, to play Noah. All compensation rates are yet to be determined.
