Netflix’s “Reptile” is shedding its skin in Atlanta

Starring Benicio del Toro and Justin Timberlake, Netflix’s new crime thriller film “Reptile” is officially filming now. According to Just Jared, Timberlake was recently spotted on set in a convenience store-set scene, the first look we’ve seen of the actor (or any actor) in the project. “Reptile” stars Benicio del Toro as Nichols, “a hardened New England detective unflinching in his pursuit of a case where nothing is as it seems, one that begins to dismantle the illusions in his own life.” Deadline reports that the final casting was announced for the crime thriller on the last day of September as Domenick Lombardozzi, Karl Glusman, Matilda Lutz, Owen Teague, and Catherine Dyer round out the cast that already included del Toro, Timberlake, Alicia Silverstone, Michael Pitt, Ato Essandoh, Frances Fisher and Eric Bogosian. This is the first feature film for Grant Singer, who directs from a script he wrote with Benjamin Brewer. Tamara-Lee Notcutt is the casting director.
