Before the “Wonder Woman” sequel gears up with Patty Jenkins, Gal Gadot might fit another project in during the first few months of 2018. The actor is in talks to star in “Ruin,” a post-WWII thriller.
Directed by Justin Kurzel and written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, the story follows an ex-Nazi captain who hunts down the still-living members of his SS squad to absolve him of his war crimes.
Kurzel, whose directorial work includes “Assassin’s Creed” and “Macbeth” has worked with casting director Jina Jay on his recent big budget projects, although no official staffing announcements have been made. Keep an ear out for casting news and more open roles in this upcoming project, which is aiming to begin production in early 2018. The “Wonder Woman” follow up is expected to shoot in summer 2018.
