We know you’re busy, we know it’s cold outside but with this much going on, you’d be mad to miss out on what London has to offer this week.

Go behind the Sondheim scenes.
The National Theatre’s production of ‘Follies’ has been one of the big hits of the year and on Nov. 28, they’re inviting the public in to see how they did it. There will be contributions from the production team and cast as well as some ‘performed extracts.’ (Tickets from £7.50)

Listen to a seasonal reading.
Booking now but starting next week is the ‘Winter Tales’, a series of Christmas stories read by famous names in the atmospheric setting of Notting Hill’s Coronet Theatre. Emile Sande, Mel Giedroyc, Toby Stephens, and Tom Hollander will be reading their top picks, so get your tickets now. (Tickets: £15.50)

Craft yourself a top day out.
Why not get crafty on Dec. 3 in Bethnal Green’s Craftacular? There will be over 100 designers, makers, and DJs and the chance to get involved with assorted DIY craft workshops. (Free)

Get filmmaking.
Open for submissions this week is the Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival. Based in Bristol, this film fest is known as a ‘gateway’ to bigger, glitzier things like the Oscars and Baftas. So grab a camera and get going.
