LUXURY BRAND SPOKESMODELS
Spectrum Casting is seeking submissions from around the globe for male and female luxury spokesmodel positions. Job prospects aside, this gig for a line of fine jewelry and exotic gems in Alaska sounds like the opportunity of a lifetime; hired talents will spend summer 2016 (May 1 through Sept. 29) in Alaska (travel and housing both provided) on top of getting paid $3,000 per month. According to the casting notice, CD Scott Andrews is looking for presentable and professional men and women of all ethnicities aged 21–55.
‘THE GET DOWN’
Baz Luhrmann’s hotly anticipated musical Netflix series, “The Get Down,” is looking for high school aged actors of African-American, Native American, Latino, and Middle Eastern descent to play background talents in an upcoming shoot in New York City. The shoot, which is scheduled for sometime between tomorrow, Feb. 3, and Feb. 12, pays $100 for a 10-hour day of filming.
‘HOW TO MAKE IT BIG’
This wacky Web series is seeking submissions from New York City for supporting roles in Season 2, which is scheduled to shoot this spring. The hit series is the story of Marvin Q. Vanderbilt and his efforts to bring “Call Girl: The Musical” to Broadway with Gladys Dubois, “a wayward woman of many parts—BIG parts.”
‘DEVIOUS MAIDS’
Murder and mayhem abound in this hit ABC dramedy about Beverly Hills’ wealthiest behaving badly. Join the fun as an extra for this Feb. 4 shoot in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
