14 Stage and Screen Actors Stand Against Trump, Defunding the Arts

Actors in film, television, and theater have spoken out against the Trump administration’s March 16 budget proposal, which would cut funding entirely to the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Reactions in Hollywood and beyond have ranged from rage to despondency, with many taking to Twitter to share their grievances regarding what would be a devastating blow to the acting community.
