“DON’T COME BACK FROM THE MOON”
James Franco is serving as the executive producer on this new television production. Four roles—three male and one female—are being cast, and submissions are being sought from Los Angeles, Calif. Talent should be available to shoot this December in L.A.
“OUTLYING ISLANDS”
This Columbia University production follows two young naturalists from Cambridge University, Robert and John, who arrive on a remote Hebridean island to conduct a wildlife survey on behalf of the government in 1939. Four roles are being cast for this production, and a small stipend will be provided for actors. Auditions will be held Nov. 22 and 23 in NYC.
BUZZFEED COMEDY SHORT
Want to show off your comedic chops for a global audience? Buzzfeed is seeking for female actor to play Jane, a woman who’s having an extremely bad day. The video will show the hilarious results that follow. Submissions are being sought from L.A., and the short video will shoot Nov. 21. Some pay will be provided.
“RIMBAUD IN NEW YORK”
Brooklyn Academy of Music is casting four male and three female actors for its production of “Rimbaud in New York.” This Equity production pays $618/week, and actors should arrive to the Dec. 3 auditions (in NYC) with one, two-minute song showing vocal range.
