The window to submit for Tracy “Twinkie” Byrd’s Hollywood Monologue Slam is closing. The competition is a popular showcase for actors of color with selected participants getting industry exposure and perks like a make-up and headshot package. The entry is fee $35.

“I encourage actors to explore their options,” Byrd recently told Backstage. “One person cannot stop your shine. It’s amazing how people are being discovered.”
