TBS Cancels 'My Boys'

NEW YORK -- Comedy "My Boys" will not return to TBS for a fifth season, the network confirmed Tuesday. The series had strong support from its devoted fan base, but recent ratings have been too weak.

The fourth season finale of the Sony TV show aired on Sunday. After expanding ratings among young demos in previous seasons, it recorded declines this year.

The quirky TBS comedy starred Jordana Spiro as a 20-something sports columnist in Chicago hanging out with a predominantly male group of friends.

Creator Betsy Thomas, Gavin Polone and Jamie Tarses were the show's executive producers.
