The smash hit "romantasy" has already spawned two best-selling sequels, “Iron Flame” and “Onyx Storm,” with two more installments on the horizon. Now, Prime Video has officially ordered a series adaptation, with Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society producing and Meredith Averill (“The Haunting of Hill House”) as series showrunner. “The Sword of Denis Anwyck”
Join the cast of “The Sword of Denis Anwyck,” a short medieval adventure film based on the novel of the same name and following a 13-year-old boy who uses his ability to read and write to foil a rebellion against the King. Texas-based actors, aged 11–65, are sought for various lead and supporting roles, including the titular Denis. Filming will take place on July 13–15 in Bellville. Pay is $300 per day.

“The Heroism of the Doomed”
A female actor-dancer and physical storyteller, age 18 or older, is sought to star in a high-concept and cinematic promo video for the dark fantasy book series “The Malhela Tetralogy.” Talent will be responsible for choosing their own gritty, moody, atmospheric location in a remote shoot, such as a dark forest, an empty warehouse, or a similar location. Rehearsals and location scouting are scheduled for July 11–27, followed by a remote shoot on July 18–26. Pay is $200.

“Forever, Maybe?”
“Forever, Maybe?,” a fantasy-romance-comedy feature following a human man and a vampire woman as they struggle to balance love, family, and everyday relationship problems, is seeking talent, aged 20–60, for the lead duo and an additional supporting role. Filming will take place in Hamilton, Ohio, this summer. Pay is $150 for the supporting role for six hours of work and $1,500 for the lead roles for eight days of work with meals, credit, and a copy provided.

“After the Series”
Sensation Studios is seeking talent for “After the Series,” a romantic drama based on the “After” book series by Anna Todd, about a college freshman who meets an unlikely roommate, opening her up to a different side of college—and herself. Talent, aged 18–55, is sought for several roles in the project, including the co-lead. Production is also hiring multiple crew roles, including an intimacy coordinator. Filming is scheduled for December in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Florida. Mica Magic Productions is seeking talent for “The Witch,” a dramedy feature film following a wealthy, arrogant playboy whose seemingly perfect life spirals into chaos after he falls for a mysterious woman and finds himself caught in a bizarre world of witches, warlocks, mobsters, and larger-than-life enemies determined to bring him down.
