Rebecca Yarros’ Empyrean series took flight with 2023’s “Fourth Wing,” which #BookTok has since quickly turned into a viral phenomenon. Riding the momentum of the now-multi-book series, Prime Video ordered a series adaptation of the smash hit “romantasy,” with Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society producing and Meredith Averill (“The Haunting of Hill House”) serving as series showrunner. Now, after months of searching, the series has finally cast its Violet and Xaden: Esther McGregor and Emilio Sakraya. “Lunar Curse”
Pocket FM is now seeking a female voice actor with a neutral British accent, age 20–30, for a narration and dialogue performance in Season 2 of the romantasy audio series “Lunar Curse.” Talent will work remotely by the end of November. Pay is £110 per finished hour (approximately £1,650 total).

“The Power of Love”
Casting is underway for “The Power of Love,” a fantasy-romance short film following Jordyn Miller, a young voracious reader who is drawn into her favorite novel and must navigate a magical kingdom, confront a sorceress, and make a heartbreaking choice to free a prince named Thomas. U.K.-based actors, aged 18–32, are sought for a trio of lead and supporting roles, including Jordyn. Talent will work in London and Norfolk with dates TBD. Pay is £1,000 for the supporting role (eight days of work) and £2,000 to £2,500 for lead roles (12 days of work). Catering will be provided.

“Song of The Siren”
Redlog Pictures is seeking talent for “Song of The Siren,” a drama-romance feature film. A female actor, age 18–30, is sought for the role of the siren, Leucothea. Some nudity and intimacy will be required for the role. Filming is scheduled for Sept. 1–15, 2027, in Greece. Pay is between $3,750 and $7,500 with travel, lodging, food, and per diem provided.

“Age of Fantasy: The Lady, The Wizard, and The Knight”
Fair Studios Productions is seeking talent for “Age of Fantasy: The Lady, The Wizard, and The Knight,” a dark fantasy short film as a proof of concept for a larger story universe. Production is casting talent, aged 10–65, for a wide variety of characters, including elves, dwarf warriors, mages, townsfolk, and more. “The Lost Healer”
Casting is underway for “The Lost Healer,” a fantasy adventure film about a young princess who must locate a forbidden relic to save her kingdom from the tyrant who killed her parents. Nationwide actors, aged 7–60, are sought for supporting and day player roles. Rehearsals will take place in late spring, including dialect coaching sessions for multiple roles, followed by filming in Kentucky in July. Pay is $250 to $300 per day for up to 10 days of work.
