It’s been 10 years since the first “Hunger Games” movie hit theaters. The dystopian action franchise, based on a book of the same name, was a huge success amongst fans. The films also put actress Jennifer Lawrence on the map as she captivated audiences in her role as Katniss Everdeen. “Just a Girl”

Casting is underway for “Just a Girl.” This sci-fi short film is similar to other popular British dystopian tales, such as “Children of Men” and “Never Let Me Go.” Production is looking for female talent, aged 18–21; male talent, aged 40-48, to play Jack who has lived an isolated life on a remote island for five years. The film shoots in April in South-East England, UK. Pay is a $100 flat rate.

“Sergeant”

A feature film needs talent for several roles. “Sergeant” is about a man named Nick who lost his leg in the line of duty goes on a journey to redeem himself. Production is looking for to cast supporting roles of all genders, aged anywhere from 18–70. The film shoots between March 28 and the first week of May in and around London. Pay is $200 per day.

“With You”

Casting is underway for “With You,” an action sci-fi drama. Single Core Studios®, an independent multimedia production company, is seeking talent of a variety of ages and genders. Production is looking for four main leads, three males aged 25–40; and a male or female lead, aged 25–32. Production will begin in June in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pay is a stipend depending on the role.

“My Wrath”

A new drama/action mini series from Amazon Prime Studios needs talent. The project is casting a variety of roles including a Black supporting male, aged 27–37, to play a felon just out of prison; a supporting female, aged 32–39, to play the wife of a felon; a supporting female, aged 30–40, to play the bookkeeper of the organization; a Latino supporting male, aged 35–45, to play a drug dealer; among other roles. Shoots TBD in Los Angeles and Riverside County. No pay but food will be provided.
