Armstrong Productions is searching for worldwide talent for an upcoming biopic of actor James Dean and his rise to fame in Hollywood in the 1950s. Talent, aged 18–60, is sought to play James Dean in the starring role, as well as Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, John Steinbeck, and many others. Filming will begin in early 2027 in Los Angeles. Pay is up to $145,000 depending on the role, with flights, accommodation, and meals provided.

“Hellhounds”
Join the pilot for “Hellhounds,” an indie animated series set in a sprawling metropolis infected with crime and vampires, where the government introduces the H.O.U.N.D program, a way for criminals to clear their records and use their skills to become highly paid Vampire hunters. Voice actors, aged 15–60, are sought for a trio of major long-term roles. Talent will record remotely. Pay is AU$100–$300 for the pilot (up to two hours of recording).

“Lily”
IN114 Films is currently casting talent for “Lily,” a feature drama-thriller film about a grieving father who rebuilds the consciousness of his dead daughter into an A.I. chatbot and is horrified to find that he’s fallen deeply in love with his digital creation. The production is seeking actors, aged 8 and older, for several on-camera and voiceover roles, including several leads. Special skills, including programming, sculpting, and more, are preferred for multiple roles. Table reads and rehearsals are scheduled for early October in New York, followed by filming in New York City on Oct. 11–Nov. 16. Pay is $50–$353 per day for up to 23 days of work with copy, credit, and meals provided.

“Pagans,” Role of Alice
Meredith Tucker Casting is continuing its search for lead talent in “Pagans,” a Netflix supernatural drama series starring Steven Yeun and following a man who, after the tragic loss of his wife, becomes the sole caretaker of his two children: a typical son and a daughter who is anything but. Production is seeking a mixed-race Asian-American and white female actor, age 10–14, to star as Alice, the keenly observant black sheep of her family. Talent will work from November to May 2027 in New York. Pay is currently undisclosed but will be at least the minimum SAG scale rate.
