Stanley Tucci is set to star in CBS' untitled Peter Ocko drama pilot.
Meanwhile, Campbell Scott is in negotiations to join ABC's drama pilot "Six Degrees"; Lolita Davidovich has joined ABC's comedy pilot "Help Me Help You"; Brittany Daniel is set to star opposite Jay Mohr in NBC's comedy pilot "Community Service"; Andrew McCarthy has joined CBS' drama pilot "The Way"; Marla Sokoloff has landed a lead in ABC's comedy pilot "A Day in the Life," with Kurt Fuller and Miriam Shor also cast in the project; and Geoff Pierson has joined NBC's untitled Jace Richdale comedy pilot.
Additionally, Peter Cambor has been cast in ABC's comedy pilot "Notes From the Underbelly," and Lauren Stamile has joined Fox's comedy pilot "That Guy."
The untitled Ocko project, from CBS Par TV, centers on a rising-star brain surgeon (Mark Feuerstein) who is doing a fellowship under the guidance of a brilliant but unpredictable surgeon (Tucci).
In the original version of the pilot last development season, the role was played by Dylan McDermott.
Emmy winner Tucci's upcoming movies include "Lucky Number Slevin," which premiered at January's Sundance Film Festival, and "The Devil Wears Prada."
"Six Degrees," from Touchstone TV and Bad Robot, is an ensemble soap about the intertwined stories of a group of strangers in New York.
Scott, who most recently starred in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose," next appears in Hallmark Channel's "Final Days of Planet Earth."
"Help Me Help You," from Regency TV, revolves around a disparate group of people connected through therapy.
Davidovich most recently recurred on "The L Word."
"Community Service," from NBC Universal TV and Sony Pictures TV, centers on an arrogant New Yorker (Mohr) who goes to a small town to look for his ex-girlfriend (Daniel) and ends up doing community service there.
Daniel, who most recently appeared in the feature "Dirty," is repped by APA Agency and manager Glenn Rigberg.
"The Way," from Sony TV and CBS Paramount Network TV, centers on a powerful New England family that uses witchcraft to further its business enterprises. McCarthy will play one of the sons.
McCarthy most recently recurred on NBC's "E-Ring."
"A Day in the Life," from Sony Pictures TV, chronicles a young couple's (Sokoloff, Josh Cooke) wedding day from the points of view of the various participants.
For Sokoloff, the role is in second position to the WB Network comedy "Modern Men," which premieres Friday. Best known for her role on ABC's "The Practice," Sokoloff most recently starred in the ABC Family movie "Christmas in Boston."
Fuller, who had a recurring role on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," next appears in the feature "Pursuit of Happyness." He is repped by APA and manager Rick Ax.
Shor's series credits include NBC's "Inside Schwartz."
The untitled Richdale project, from HBO Independent Prods., centers on a New York guy (Kevin Brennan) whose younger brother moves in with him while attending NYU. Pierson will play the men's father.
The actor, who co-starred on Fox's "24" as President John Keeler, is repped by Stone Manners.
"Notes From the Underbelly," from Warner Bros. TV and the Tannenbaum Co., centers on a group of friends from the point of view of an expectant father.
Cambor, who co-stars in the Los Angeles production of "The Cherry Orchard," is repped by Mary Harden of the Harden Curtis Agency and manager Bruce Smith.
Stamile will play Dr. Cassidy Chase in "That Guy," from Regency TV and Montecito Pictures. She is managed by Mark Schumacher.
In other pilot-casting news, Gill Gayle has joined ABC's comedy "Southern Comfort," and John Cho has been added to the NBC comedy pilot "The Singles Table."
