Are You a ‘Twilight’ Fan? Apply for These Fantasy + Romance Gigs

More than 15 years since the first film in the franchise debuted, “Twilight” continues to attract new fans and enthrall existing ones. The romantic fantasy series based on Stephenie Meyer’s novels made movie stars out of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Now, the vampire franchise is getting a new spin with an animated series that’s currently in the works. While the “Twilight” series isn’t currently casting (just yet!), you can still apply for a fantasy or romance project today. These gigs remind us of “Twilight” and are casting now. 

“Silver Moon Wolf”

Reverse Clock Entertainment is seeking talent for “Silver Moon Wolf,” a dark fantasy/romance vertical web series. Actors, aged 18–51, are wanted for various lead and supporting roles. Filming will take place on May 21–30 in Los Angeles. Pay is $150–$400 per day for up to nine days of work.

“PD”

A fantasy web series is casting for its spring or summer shoot in Toronto. Production seeks a lead female actor, aged 24–40, to play Kat. Compensation for the role is yet to be determined. Please note that the role requires stage combat and stunt skills.

“Hard Feelings”

A nonunion romantic comedy feature film is casting for its fall 2024 shoot in Norfolk, Virginia. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 18–27, to play Annie, a supporting female actor, aged 38–55, to play Aunt Lorri, and a supporting female actor, aged 18–27, to play Hailee. All roles pay a flat rate of $100–$1,000 for an estimated seven days of work.

“A Picture of My Heart”

romance short film is casting for its upcoming shoot in Queens. Production seeks a lead male actor, aged 23–30, to play Aiden, a lead female actor, aged 21–30, to play Diana, a supporting male actor, aged 25–40, to play Ross, and a background/extra actor, aged 18–30, to play Waiter/Waitress/Bartender. The roles of Aiden and Diana pay a flat rate of $100 for an estimated eight days of work. The role of Ross pays a flat rate of $50 for an estimated three days of work. The role of Waiter/Waitress/Bartender pays a flat rate of $20 for an estimated three days of work. Please note that Diana's role requires drawing skills.

A short film about two women struggling with dating apps is casting for its June shoot in Denver. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 28–35, to play Jack, a lead female actor, aged 28–35, to play Diane, a supporting male actor, aged 23–35, to play Tinder Guy, and a supporting male actor, aged 23–35, to play Hinge Guy. The roles of Jack and Diane pay a flat rate of $350 for an estimated single day of work. The roles of Tinder Guy and Hinge Guy pay a flat rate of $250 for an estimated single day of work.
