“Reunion” and “Dark Pony”
Baseless Fabric Theatre is looking for two actors for their site-specific tour of libraries in South London this Autumn. The theatre and opera company are seeking performers for rehearsals at the end of September and performances from 9–14 October for their productions of “Reunion” and “Dark Pony” by David Mamet. As part of National Libraries Week in Merton, these plays will bring audiences into beautiful spaces and offer library members something exceptional.

If you fit the bill and can perform in a strong American accent, the company would like to hear from you. The roles are:

  • Male, playing age 50-60, any ethnicity. Playing Bernie in “Reunion” and Father in “Dark Pony”. They are looking for a charismatic storyteller.
  • Female, playing age mid-20s, mixed race or BAME. Playing Carol in “Reunion” and Daughter in “Dark Pony”.

The total fee is £900 and actors must have a current DBS check. To apply, send your CV, headshots or Backstage link to Joanna Turner at info@baselessfabric.co.uk by 8 September.
