U.K. Now Casting: ‘Hamilton’ London + More Casting Notices

U.K. actors, do not throw away this shot. “Hamilton,” the global musical sensation, is casting talent for its run across the pond, and we have the information you need to apply right here! Plus, more gigs (requiring less rapping) below.

Union and nonunion talent is being sought for the London run of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prize–winning musical, “Hamilton.” Lead by producer Cameron Mackintosh, the team seeks male and female talent aged 20–39, able to rap, sing, and act. The production will open Dec. 7 at the Victoria Palace Theatre in the West End, United Kingdom. Year-long contracts with professional pay will be provided through November 2018.

Short film “Taking Stock” is casting two adult actors (one male and one female) as well as one female child actor for supporting roles. The project will shoot in Dublin, Ireland at to-be-determined dates. Some pay will be provided.

Female vocalists ages 18 and up are sought for “Suck it Up,” a workshop which “will lead vocalists through a series of vocal and physical improvisations/creative tasks, exploring how our voices alter as we move between physical tension and release.” Talent will be needed for the gig June 16 in London.

“Playthings,” a short film “about two young girls who are entering the care system,” is casting for two supporting roles. Seeking two female actors, aged 5–10 and 27–34, respectively, the piece will shoot this June in Bristol. By-appointment auditions will be held June 10, also in Bristol. Some pay will be provided.
