The 2010 Tribeca Film Festival is seeking volunteers to work April 21st through May 2nd in New York City.

Volunteers should be enthusiastic and have an interest and love for film. Help is needed in all departments in varied aspects of the event. Over 1,500 volunteers worked at last year's festival.

Volunteers have a chance to meet fellow film buffs, get giveaways, and gain access to the films all for free.

Founded by Robert DeNiro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff, the Tribeca Film Festival was created in 2001 to revitalize lower Manhattan after the World Trade Center attacks both culturally and economically. It is designed to help filmmakers reach a larger audience with their work.

Since it began, the event has drawn in over 2.3 million people and has helped to generate about $600 million in revenue for New York City.
