Writer/Director Larry Clark's latest film Wassup Rockers will have its U.S. premiere at the Slamdance 2006 Film Festival on Jan. 19 in Park City, Utah. Clark is scheduled to appear at the screening of his film, which tells the story of a group of East-L.A. Latino teens exploring Beverly Hills.
Slamdance, which will take place Jan. 19 - 27, will also expand this year to include screenings, screenplay readings, and events in nearby Sugar House, Utah.
The competition slate for the 2006 fest will be announced on Dec. 6 in Los Angeles at El Centro nightclub from 6 p.m. 足 9 p.m. PST.
