Amy Schumer shouldn’t count on Lin-Manuel Miranda to invest in her hip-hopera musical based on Betsy Ross. Schumer pitched her own musical about the Revolutionary War hero to the “Hamilton” creator in a sketch for the new season of “Inside Amy Schumer,” premiering April 21 on Comedy Central.

“I thought, ‘How hard is it to write like, a hip-hopera about historical wig-and-knee-sock people?’ ” Schumer pondered aloud to Miranda before performing a musical number from her fictional musical’s first act for Miranda, which strongly resembled songs found in “Hamilton.”

“How does a woman / Who does / Not know how to sew / Learn to sew and then go on to sew / A flag for her country / And if so / What could her name be,” Schumer rapped to a disinterested Miranda seen waiting for his Uber in an attempt to flee the scene.

Schumer parodies famous songs including Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Out,” Nelly’s “Hot in Herre,” and Drake’s “Hotline Bling” in the musical’s “second act.” She even brings out her sister Kim to portray Betsy’s nemesis “Karen Hurr.” Questlove also makes an appearance on the drums.
