Promoting her new film “Meadowland,” out Oct. 16, Olivia Wilde stopped by “Late Night with Seth Meyers” Oct. 12 to accept the Actathon Challenge.

Dressed in a custom sweatsuit, the actor joked that to prep for the nine-course challenge she only ingested bean skins and water for a year, physically transformed into Winston Churchill, transformed back, and then took an improv class.

Among the “feats of acting expertise” Wilde had to complete were the “Devil’s Desk,” in which she had to angrily say a line of dialogue into a phone and then swipe the contents off the desk; the “Mirror of Introspection,” where her character had to stare at her reflection and wonder who the hell she’s become; and the “Junket Room,” where she had to promote a movie “you know is complete garbage.”

Even while poking fun at acting clichés, Wilde managed to show off her comedy chops. Watch the fully entertaining full video below, and check out the trailer for “Meadowland,” also starring Juno Temple and Elisabeth Moss.
