Hey, Los Angeles actors! Stay in the loop and be sure to check back every week for projects currently in production in the place you call home. Here’s the 411 on what’s filming big and small in your city.

“Stumptown”
Cobie Smulders became a household name with her work on “How I Met Your Mother” and more recently, Marvel’s “Avengers” blockbusters, and soon, she will be once again watchable weekly as she heads into “Stumptown” opposite Michael Ealy and Mark Webber. The ABC series, which is set to premiere Sept. 25, is based on the graphic novel series by Greg Rucka and stars Smulders as “a sharp-witted Army veteran [who] becomes a private investigator in Portland, Oregon while taking care of her brother.” The series is working on its first season and is currently filming long hours at Pan Pacific Warehouse in the Arts District of L.A. The pilot was filmed in Vancouver and Portland back in March, but, though set in Portland, the series is filming in L.A. Deanna Brigidi is the series casting director. There were casting calls on Backstage back in March for the pilot, so be sure to keep an eye out on L.A.’s TV notices for ongoing series work!
