Comedian Whoopi Goldberg received a permanent Hollywood square on Tuesday. The star and producer of the television game-show "Hollywood Squares" was honored with a Walk of Fame star on the occasion of her 46th birthday. "To my fans, you don't care if I'm fat or skinny, you still come to see me. This is for you," Goldberg told the crowd, gesturing toward her star. Tom Bergeron, host of "Hollywood Squares," attended the unveiling and led onlookers in a chorus of "Happy Birthday" after wheeling out a cake decorated with Goldberg's likeness. The marker was the 2,186th star on the Walk of Fame. It was dedicated in front of the Kodak Theatre, the newly opened home of the Academy Awards, adjacent to the district's historic Chinese Theatre.
