CBS daytime drama “The Young and the Restless” leads this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards with 27 total nominations.

ABC’s “General Hospital” (24 nominations), CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” (23) and NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” (16) follow. All four are nominated for best drama series, an honor for which “The Young and the Restless” and “Days of Our Lives” tied at last year’s ceremony.

The Television Academy is also honoring Web series and its actors for the first time this year.

Kristos Andrews (“The Bay: The Series”), Van Hansis (“EastSiders”), Rick Hearst (“Youthful Daze”), J. D. Pardo (“East Los High”), and Kevin Spirtas (“Winterthorne”) are the inaugural nominees for actor in a digital daytime drama. Mary Beth Evans (“The Bay: The Series”), Kathleen Gati (“Winterthorne”), Elizabeth Hubbard (“Anacostia”), Lilly Melgar ("The Bay: The Series"), and Patsy Pease ("The Bay: The Series") round out actress in a digital daytime drama.

“East Los High,” “EastSiders,” “The Bay: The Series,” “Vanity,” and “Winterthorne” will all go head-to-head in the digital drama series category.

The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmys will not be televised this year. Instead, the awards will be handed out May 1 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.
