Grant Wilfley Casting and Paramount need talent for the second installment of the classic 2001 comedy starring Ben Stiller as the titular model, not to mention Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor, and Will Ferrell. This paid gig shoots Nov. 19–24 somewhere in New York City. Trendy fashionista types are welcome!
“CLAIRE AT THE END OF THE WORLD”
This short film by director-producer Ramsey Fendall needs three actors for a February 2016 shoot in NYC. The film follows Claire, who is moving into a new apartment while connecting with people from her past—until a terrifying incident overshadows the proceedings. The project offers compensation as per SAG-AFTRA’s Ultra Low Budget short film agreement.
“NATHAN THE WISE”
Want to make nearly $600 a week onstage? NYC’s stellar Classic Stage Company is seeking Equity actors for a production of Gotthold Ephraim Lessing’s religious tale “Nathan the Wise.” Rehearsals are scheduled for February, with previews beginning in March.
“CLEANING”
Los Angeles dancers, take note! This short film, shooting Dec. 12, includes no dialogue and plenty of movement. Featuring a dance studio’s cleaning lady who stumbles across a couple training and is inspired to dance herself, Gil Ben-Harosh’s paid project will offer experienced choreographers additional compensation. Go for it!
