Audition for Marvel’s ‘Wolverine’ and More!

Get cast as an extra in a Twentieth Century Fox film or as a lead in short film that has a storyline where “Rocky” meets “Superbad.” Backstage has the auditions you’re looking for, so check them out below!

“WOLVERINE 3”
Hugh Jackman is back as one of the world’s most famous science experiments, and actors are needed to support! Twentieth Century Fox, Marvel Entertainment, and Central Casting Louisiana are seeking Hispanic actors to play background roles as theater-goers for this June 29 overnight shoot. These are paid roles being cast out of New Orleans, so get your headshots ready!

“BULLY”
“Think ‘Rocky’ meets ‘Superbad,’ ” reads the description for this feature film about an overweight kid who decides to learn how to stick up for himself after being bullied at school and a chance encounter with a famous boxer inspires him to do so. Actors are being sought to play lead and supporting roles for the Aug. 1–18 shoot dates in Ocean County, New Jersey. “Bully” is nonunion and will pay SAG-AFTRA scale for ultra low budget.

“DREAMCATCHER”
Potential candidates for the cast of this short film centered on the Flint, Michigan, water crisis are currently being auditioned. Actors must be available to shoot in Floral Park, New York, in August or September. Specific dates have yet to be announced. Meals and travel will be provided, and actors will be compensated $125 per day.

“AFRICA”
One lead, one supporting, and several day player roles must be filled for this feature film about abuse, trust, and love between an African couple living in the U.S., and Scott, the “gentlemanly, entrepreneur billionaire.” Auditions will be June 23 in New York City (also the film’s shoot location).
