Casting is currently for “What A Day,” an official music video for a New York–based rapper, and a talented young actor is wanted for the lead.

A young black male actor, aged 8–11, is wanted to play the lead role of Matt, a skinny, timid boy who hides behind his mother when you first meet him but won’t stop talking once he gets to know you.

There are also lead roles available for two actors, aged 38–55, to play Matt’s mom, a single mother who carries herself with grace, and his dad, a narcissist who blames the burden of raising a child for the dissolution of his marriage.

“What A Day” will rehearse in December and shoot Jan. 6–7 in the NYC area. Actors will be paid $100 per day under the SAG-AFTRA New Media Agreement.
