A short film is seeking actors to play the young, adult, and older versions of the lead character in a shoot next month.

“Dementia,” a short journey through a powerful business tycoon’s mind as he’s dying from dementia and must reflect upon and confront the emptiness of his existence, is seeking actors for several roles.

A young male actor, aged 14–18, is sought to play the teenage version of Elliot, the lead character. The character will begin as withdrawn, innocent, and awkward, but after witnessing his mother’s suicide, he becomes a violent problem child who acts out by getting into fights.

Additionally, two male actors, one aged 25–40 and one 60–90, are wanted to play the adult and older versions of Elliot. There are other roles available for talent, aged 18–40.

“Dementia” will shoot March 2–4 in Detroit, Michigan. Pay will be negotiable, the starting rate is TBD.
