Join season two of Disney Channel’s “Andi Mack” this summer in either an assisting or supporting role! The series is looking for Cantonese speakers to help on set with dialogue and questions, as well as real baseball teams and players to appear in the show. There are also roles available in an indie musical film, a play about tensions in a prison’s GBTQ maximum-security unit, or an online multi-part drama about the intersecting lives of women!
“ANDI MACK” CANTONESE SPEAKERS AND BASEBALL TEAMS
“Andi Mack,” a Disney Channel series focused on a young girl (played by Peyton Elizabeth Lee) about to celebrate her 13th birthday, is seeking a male or female Cantonese speaker aged 18 and older to come to set and help the cast with dialogue and questions in its upcoming season. The series is also looking for real baseball players and teams (male or female) aged 11–13 for supporting roles. Talent should have their own uniforms and equipment. The Cantonese speaker is needed on set July 12–13 in Salt Lake City, UT. Filming with the baseball teams will be July 11–Dec. 15. “THIS IS LIFE”
There are currently two roles available in “This is Life,” an online multi-part drama that tells the story of five women whose lives intersect. A female actor and a male actor, both ages 18–32, are needed for the supporting roles of Kristine and Roc. The production films July 15–16. There will be scenes filmed with a newborn/infant and will be limited to 60 minutes of filming at a time. Pay is $275 for 1–2 hours on set. Apply here!
“PUNK”
“Punk,” a play set in the GBTQ unit of a maximum-security prison that follows the unit’s inmates and staff as they struggle to accept their newest admit, is currently looking to fill supporting and understudy roles. Male and female talent aged 18–45 are sought for several understudy parts, including the lead character of Travis. The play begins rehearsals Aug. 6 in Chicago, IL, and runs Oct. 9–Nov. 5. “FESTIVALS OF PATIENCE”
Casting is currently underway for “Festivals of Patience,” an indie musical drama about “a young writer who meets the girl of his dreams, and strives hopelessly to save her from her tragic past and inner demons.” A male actor and a female actor, both ages 18–25, are needed to play the lead roles of Michael and Sarah, respectively. There are also several supporting roles available for male and female talent aged 18–55. Most roles are singing roles and require specific vocal ranges/song auditions. The production rehearses and shoots from late Aug. to Oct. Pay is deferred with equity points for the main cast. Apply here!
