Now Casting: Portray Migrant Workers in New Netflix Film “Highwaymen” Starring Woody Harrelson + 3 More Gigs

The work week may be over, but the great casting opportunities never stop. Join the hunt for the infamous Bonnie and Clyde in the new Netflix feature film “Highwaymen,” starring Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner. There are also lead roles in the latest episode of Investigation Discovery’s true crime series “Evil Lives Here,” a commercial about life’s doldrums, and a new indie feature film about a family reuniting under difficult and challenging circumstances.

“HIGHWAYMEN”
Background casting continues for the Netflix feature film “Highwaymen,” starring Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner as veteran Texas Rangers on the hunt for the notorious Depression-era outlaws Bonnie and Clyde. Talent of all ages is wanted to portray migrant workers as background. Men must be okay with being clean shaven and have a shorter haircut. Preference will be given to women with hair below the shoulders or shorter (or willing to get it cut). The film shoots Feb. 7 in St. Benedict, Louisiana, with a fitting date TBD in LaPlace, Louisiana. Some pay will be provided. Apply here!

“EVIL LIVES HERE” - 312
Join the next episode of “Evil Lives Here,” Investigation Discovery’s hit series that tells the tragic stories of killers and those closest to them. A male actor, aged 30–35, and a young male actor, aged 16–18, are sought to play adult and teen versions, respectively, of the lead character, Rick. There is also a lead role available for a female actor, aged 25–29. The episode shoots Jan. 29–Feb. 2 (exact dates TBD) in the New York or New Jersey area. Pay varies by role. Apply here!

“SOMETIMES”
“Sometimes,” a commercial about a student and a teacher struggling to get by with what they have, is casting actors in New York City. A male actor, aged 18–25, is wanted to play the student, a female actor, aged 25–40, is wanted for the teacher. There are also supporting roles available for two female actors, one aged 13–18, and one aged 30–45. The commercial will shoot late January or early February in NYC. Pay is $400 per day, with meals provided. Apply here!

“SINCERELY, BRENDA”
Casting is now underway for “Sincerely, Brenda,” a new indie feature about a father recovering from addiction who has to face his two estranged sons after their mother dies suddenly in a car accident. A male actor, aged 55–65, is sought to play the lead role of Charles, a recovering alcoholic. There are several supporting and day player roles for talent, aged 16–65. There will be an open casting call in Lansing, Michigan, on Feb. 10. “Sincerely, Brenda” rehearses early summer 2018 and shoots July–August in Lansing. Pay is $125 per day, with meals provided.
