Now Casting: Real Couples Wanted for OWN TV Series ‘Love Is’ + 3 More Gigs

Love can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people, and one of those things is getting one of the great gigs available in today’s roundup! The OWN TV series “Love Is,” which will tell the story of a power couple navigating the landscape of Black Hollywood, is seeking real couples for an upcoming shoot in Georgia. Plus, an indie feature about a struggling actor, a vampire romantic comedy, and a series about one woman's attempts to get a visa are all casting lead roles and more.

“LOVE IS”
The OWN TV series “Love Is,” which will tell the story of a power couple navigating the landscape of Black Hollywood, is seeking real couples for an upcoming shoot in Georgia. New-to-the-show couples, aged 20–39, are wanted in background roles. This opportunity is also available for people comfortable enough with each other to portray real couples. The shoot will take place on April 16 in Fayetteville, Georgia. Pay is $88 for 10 hours of work. Apply here!

“ZOO” 
Join the cast of “Zoo,” an indie feature film about a struggling actor trying to make it in Los Angeles as he falls deeper into despair, simultaneously haunted by a dream that finds him trapped in the same house every night, unable to escape. A male actor, aged 23–27, is wanted to play the lead role of Tyler. There are also supporting roles and roles for day players, aged 18–60. “Zoo” will rehearse late April and early May and shoots May 14–31 in L.A. Pay is TBD. Apply here!

“PIZZA & WINE”
“Pizza & Wine,” a vampire romantic comedy set in New York City, is casting talent for lead and supporting roles. Two female actors, aged 23–33, are sought for the lead roles of Vanessa and Emily. Partial nudity is required for the role of Vanessa. There are also supporting roles for talent, aged 30–45. The film shoots in May in NYC. Pay is $100 per day. Apply here!

“I DO”
Casting is underway for “I Do,” a series following Zoe and her screwball attempts to cast someone in the role of her husband in order to obtain a visa to live and work in the U.S. Cis and trans talent, aged 20–92, is wanted for several lead and supporting roles in the series, including Jake, an artistic agent, and Leila, an Iranian-American sommelier. Some roles require a passport for one day of shooting in Paris, France, while other roles require specific skills, such as singing or piano-playing ability. Production will take place from July 2–14 in NYC, as well as Paris for certain lead roles. Pay is $50–$125 per day, depending on the character. Apply here!
