Now Casting: Earn Up to $1,100 a Week on Tour In ‘Elf’ + More

Spread Christmas cheer this season in the best possible way: by singing loud for all to hear on stage! The non-Equity national tour of the musical “Elf,” based on the hit movie of the same name, is seeking a young male actor for a lead role. There are also roles available in a musical version of “A Christmas Carol,” a national TV spot supporting foster children, and a feature film about a couple’s history post-breakup. 

“ELF” 
Join the non-Equity national tour of the musical “Elf” this winter in a lead role! A young male actor, aged 10–14, is wanted to play the lead role of Michael, Buddy’s younger brother. Talent should have a great singing voice up to an E. The production rehearses dates TBD in NYC. Pay is $900–$1100 per week. Apply here! 

“A CHRISTMAS CAROL” 
Casting is currently underway for a one-hour, young audience musical version of Charles Dickens’ timeless “A Christmas Carol.” Male and female talent, aged 18–40, are wanted to play several multi-faceted singing roles in the production, including Young Scrooge, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, Marty, and more. There is an open casting call on Oct. 12 in NYC. Rehearsals begin mid-November and the show runs Dec. 13–20 in Maryland, New Jersey, and New York. Pay is $1,000. Apply here! 

“YOUR HELP. THEIR HOPE.” 
A national TV spot promoting a nonprofit that supports foster children is seeking talent for a shoot next month. Two children, aged 7–14, are wanted for non-speaking roles in the production. The shoot will take place Oct. 10 at a green screen studio in Houston, Texas. Pay is $500 with snacks and meals provided throughout the shoot. Apply here!
