A Letter From the CEO of Backstage

A Letter From the CEO of Backstage

Dear Backstagers

In the devastating wake of Hurricane Sandy, our thoughts are first and foremost with you, the Backstage community, and the millions of others affected by the storm. As I am writing this, my home is without water and power, and other members of the Backstage team have been evacuated. Our office, located in downtown Manhattan, has been without power and inaccessible, and will likely be powerless for the remainder of the week

Amazingly, the Backstage team is all safe and has been working remotely. never went down and the next issue of Backstage Magazine hits Newsstands on Thursday.

Further, I’m sure many you are trying to figure out what is happening with auditions in affected areas. The Backstage Casting team has put together an audition status tracker to try to help out.

It's times like these when I am humbled and reminded of what is truly important, I am extremely proud and grateful to be a part of an amazing team at Backstage. Please stay safe and we wish you the best as we all try to return to normality in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

John Amato
Chairman & CEO
