Lois F. Rosenfield, 78, Broadway Producer

Lois F. Rosenfield, best known as a producer of the Broadway musicals "Barnum" and "Singin' in the Rain," died of cancer on Sun., May 25, in Glencoe, Ill. She was 78.

Her other producing credits include "The Glass Menagerie" (with Jessica Tandy in 1983), "The Road to Mecca" (by Athol Fugard), and the 1990 musical "Falsettoland" (by William Finn and James Lapine).

In addition to producing for the stage, Rosenfield was a co-producer of the film "Bang the Drum Slowly," starring Michael Moriarty and Robert De Niro.
