USA Goes Incognito with 'Burn' Pilot

USA Network has given a cast-contingent pilot order to "Burn Notice," a drama from Fox TV Studio.

Written by Matt Nix, the project centers on blacklisted Special Ops agent Michael Weston, who uses his elite training to find the reason for the "burn notice" that ended his spy career and to help those who can't go to the police.

Mikkel Bondesen is executive producing the pilot through his Fuse Entertainment, with Nix co-executive producing. Nix and Bondesen also are collaborating on the feature side, with Fuse producing Nix's adaptation of Will Self's novel "Cock & Bull."

"Burn Notice" joins "To Love and Die in L.A.," another one-hour cast-contingent pilot that USA greenlighted in June.
